2. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- In addition to the following regulations, the general conditions of sale of Merano 2000 Funivie SPA always apply.
- The contract is concluded with Merano 2000 Funivie SPA.
- The purchase of tickets and the use of the facilities presuppose an awareness and acceptance of all of the conditions set out in the above-mentioned and following T&Cs
- Only customers over the age of 18 years are entitled to purchase online tickets.
By accepting a ticket for a minor child, the adult recipient acknowledges that he or she is aware of the terms and conditions for passengers and accepts them without reservation, and that he or she will assume responsibility for the child when using the amenities and will ensure that they are used under his or her direct supervision.
3. PRICES, PURCHASE AND SUPPLY CONDITIONS
- All tickets are strictly individual and are neither transferable nor exchangeable.
- Customers must be truthful when selecting ticket age categories and this must be confirmed by ID during any checks at the entrance to the facility or the ticket office.
- Any misuse will result in the immediate withdrawal of the ticket. We reserve the right to take action under civil or criminal law.
- Ticket prices include value added tax.
- Only standard tickets and prices are available in the online shop. Group and student discounts, visitor card discounts or reductions upon presentation of a disabled person’s pass (from 70% invalidity) are only available if tickets are purchased at the Merano 2000 Funivie SPA ticket offices.
- If a customer wishes to purchase multi-day tickets and the period in question includes days in both high and off-season, the ticket office computer will calculate a mixed price.The online tickets will remain the property of Merano 2000 Funivie SPA until full payment has been received and will only become valid upon receipt of the full amount. Furthermore, the vendor reserves the right to freeze the validity of the tickets as part of automatic processing
- The purchased online tickets must be used in exchange for the service offered by the vendor and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The online tickets may only be redeemed at the locations stated on the tickets.
4. VALIDITY
- Online tickets are only valid on the stated dates for the relevant amenities or services and during normal operating hours. Once the selected date of use has expired, the validity of the ticket shall also expire.
- If, during this period, there are seasonal price adjustments, then the differential amount will be payable.
- Upon purchase of the tickets the customer must check that they match his or her order. It is not possible to amend tickets that have already been purchased or to extend the duration of their validity period retrospectively.
5. PROCEDURE AND ORDERING COSTS
It is possible to pay for your tickets by credit card (Visa, Mastercard). The order confirmation with valid tickets or reservation codes will be sent by email once payment has been made. There is no order handling fee.
6. WITHDRAWAL/RETURN
- No ticket - no matter what kind - will be refunded, not even partially, if the purchaser is unable to use it for whatever reason.
Equally, no refund or replacement will be provided in the event of loss, destruction or wear and tear, with the exception of worn but still recognisable tickets, which must be presented to the ticket office for replacement. - The service content and scope of the online tickets can be found on the details of service printed on the tickets. In the event of only partial use of a ticket, there is no entitlement to a partial refund since the ticket is all-inclusive.
- If there are queues to access the facilities, no matter what the reason, in the event of technical or weather-related service interruptions and in case of non-use of the amenities due to events that are not attributable to gross negligence by our company, there is no entitlement to reimbursement or compensation, not even partial.
- Tickets that entitle the holder to use more than one cable car system are intended for those systems that are in operation at the time of use, and do not entitle the holder to reimbursement or compensation of any kind in the event that one or more systems are not in operation for technical reasons, which are determined at the company’s own discretion or due to force majeure.
- Ski passes / multi-tickets and subscriptions can only be refunded proportionately upon presentation of a medical certificate and only from the date of presentation to the ticket office. The medical certificate must make it clear that the holder is no longer able to use the ticket as a result of their injury. Accompanying persons or family members have no right to a refund. The refund amount is calculated on the basis of the price for the days that have already elapsed. For hourly tickets, half-day and whole-day ski-passes or bike tickets, no refund is possible.
- Refunds due to exceptional circumstances arising in connection with the covid-19 emergency are detailed in the corresponding list of measures on the website, www.meran2000.com.
7. CHECKS
Regular checks are carried out at the ticket offices and entrance to the cable cars.
Passengers must obtain the necessary tickets before using the amenities. Forged or irregularly issued tickets or tickets not in the possession of the authorised holder will be immediately and definitively taken away irrespective of the possible enforcement of legally prescribed administrative and criminal sanctions. Documents and identification that attest to the right to the ticket can be requested from the employees of Merano 2000 Funivie SPA or the public authorities.
8. LIABILITY
- The customer shall be obliged to fully and correctly furnish the relevant details required in the contract upon conclusion of the contract. In the event that the customer provides incorrect, incomplete or unclear details, he or she will be liable for all consequential costs and damage incurred by Merano 2000 Funivie SPA.
- The mountains and natural surroundings in which you find yourself and the changing natural or artificial conditions that characterise them as well as the practising of hiking, tobogganing, skiing and/or snowboarding are all subject to a risk that lies in the nature of these sporting activities. The purchase of the admission ticket and the use of the facilities presuppose knowledge of these possibilities and the acceptance of all of the provisions set out in these terms and conditions of sale. It is therefore not possible for customers to assert claims for damages in case of accidents arising from one of the following causes, given here as examples:
- changing weather conditions;
- variations in the slope;
- ground and snow conditions (icy, wet etc.);
- the nature of the ground (areas without snow cover, rocks, uneven sections, branches or potholes);
- collision with the lift equipment;
- collision with other hikers/tobogganists/bikers/skiers;
- lack of care of hikers/tobogganists/bikers/skiers;
- use of closed pistes or skiing off-piste.
- The operator shall not be liable either for damage attributable to the improper use of the amenities, nor for the consequences of prohibited behaviour by the user during use of the equipment and the areas surrounding it.
The customer shall use the equipment, paths and ski slopes at their own risk. Everyone must behave in such a way that they neither put other people at risk nor damage either people or property. - Use of this website is at the customer’s own risk. Merano 2000 Funivie SPA accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of this website. Merano 2000 Funivie SPA also accepts no liability for interruptions, technical faults, maintenance work etc. Merano 2000 Funivie SPA strives to remedy faults and service interruptions as quickly as possible.

Complaints or suggestions must be made in writing stating the writer’s address and sent to the following address:

11. NOTICE, ANNOUNCEMENT OF GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS
The customer’s attention is expressly drawn to the fact that our general terms and conditions of business are posted and may be accessed by the public at our points of sale and/or lifts during the hours of business. In addition, your attention is drawn to the fact that our general terms and conditions of business can also be viewed on our website, www.meran2000.com.
12. Italian law is applicable to any legal proceedings concerning the validity or execution of the transport contract or the present General Terms and Conditions of Business. The judges of the court in Bolzano, Italy have sole jurisdiction.
