CAN UNUSED TICKETS BE REFUNDED?

NOTICE: The purchase of the skipass is not subject to the right of withdrawal provided by Consumer Protection Law (art. 47 and 59 legislative decree 206/2005). No ticket - no matter what kind - will be refunded, not even partially.
Remember that if you are unable to use the skipass for any reason, including illness, inability to go on vacation, or commitments that have arisen, the skipass will not be refundable under any circumstances.
Purchase the ski pass only if you are sure you will be able to use it. Before purchasing, check the open lifts and open slopes here, which are updated daily.

HOW DOES THE ONLINE PURCHASE OF MERANO 2000 TICKETS WORK?

Please register first. Select the tickets that you want and the intended date of use and pay securely by credit card. At the check-out, please give the name of the person/people for whom you are buying the tickets.
PLEASE NOTE: At weekends and in high season, the availability of parking spaces and skiing/tobogganing equipment cannot be guaranteed. Only buy an online ticket if you can get here early in the day.

I HAVE MADE MY PURCHASE. WHAT NOW?

Depending on the type of ticket you have bought, you can take your QR code either in printed form or saved on your smart phone directly to the entrances to the Merano 2000 lifts and commence your journey.
If you have purchased a ski or toboggan ticket, then pick up your official ticket from the pick-up station in the valley station of the Ropeway Merano 2000 or Gondola Falzeben.

If you have a personal key card, you can top up your ski pass directly when you purchase your ticket and make your way to the lift entrance. To do so, the key card must be blank, i.e. you should not have anything else saved on it. Anything saved on the key card would be overwritten by the new purchase.

WHICH CARD TYPES ARE ISSUED?

SINGLE-USE TICKET WITH BARCODE: After completing the purchase of this ticket you can go directly with the bar code to the pick-up station and there collect your valid skiing or tobogganing ticket. This is a single-use bar code ticket, which can only be used for this one purchase. For these tickets, it is not necessary to pay a deposit.

SINGLE TICKETS & ALPINE BOB WITH QR-CODE: When purchasing single tickets or Alpine Bob tickets, you will receive an email confirmation with a QR-Code, which gives you direct access to the turnstiles, i.e. you do not need to convert your ticket at the pick-up station or ticket office. You can save the QR-code on your smart phone or use it in paper form.

KEY CARD (Deposit €5.00): If you visit the Merano 2000 ski resort often, we recommend that you purchase a key card at one of the ticket offices. This key card can then be used for additional purchases, in that you can directly load your ski pass onto it and then head to the lift entrances without having to pick up your tickets beforehand from the pick-up station.
If you already have a Skidata key card, you can load the desired tickets directly onto it in our online shop and then make your way to the lift entrance.
PLEASE NOTE: The key card serial number is on the back of the ticket and consists of 23 digits. You must always enter the hyphen too.

WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY SKIING OR TOBOGGANING TICKET?

• At the Merano 2000 Ropeway Valley Station (Via Val di Nova 37), next to the ticket office
• At the Falzeben Gondola Valley Station, in front of the ticket office

Please note that the tickets are ready to be used from around 2 minutes after purchase.

CAN I PURCHASE SEVERAL TICKETS IN ONE TRANSACTION?

Yes, you can obtain various tickets for different people in a single transaction. To do so, the relevant personal details will be needed, as every ticket is issued in a specific name.
The details, key card serial numbers and additional information about each person will be saved for future purchases.
Please note, that all tickets purchased in the same transaction might be printed at the pick-up station at once.

You may load several tickets onto your personal key card, but not for the same day.

WILL THE PURCHASED TICKETS BE SENT BY EMAIL?

Yes, our system automatically sends you a confirmation of your purchase to the email address that you used to register with the shop. The confirmation contains information about each purchased ticket.

ARE FAMILY TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE ONLINE SHOP?

If you wish to purchase tickets at the same time for at least one adult and children/juniors, select the correct option from among the Family-Tickets. Children under 8 years of age travel free of charge and do not require a ticket.

WHAT ARE THE RULES ABOUT CHILDREN’S PRICES / HOW DO I BOOK FREE TICKETS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?

Junior: born between 2004 and 2007
Child: born between 2008 and 2014
Free: born in 2015 or later

Children between 5 and 7 years who due to their size are unable to pass through the turnstile at the lifts require a ski pass (free of charge). Please go to one of our ticket offices and pick up a free ticket for the child there.

ARE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN TICKETS?

Information on possible price reductions (group prices, price reductions for people with disabilities, season tickets) are only available from the ticket offices.

DO I NEED INSURANCE AS A SKIER/SNOWBOARDER/TOBOGGANER?

Yes, from 1.1.2022, according to Italian Legislative Decree No. 40 dated 28.2.2021, every skier, snowboarder, tobogganer or back-country skier is required to hold personal or family liability insurance, which, among other things, covers damage or injury to third parties. Please check in advance if you already have this type of insurance or purchase a policy together with your ski pass from our ticket offices or our Online Shop Merano 2000  for 2,50 € a day per person.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REBOOKE AN EARLY BOOKING TICKET TO A DIFFERENT DATE?

Tickets that have already been paid cannot be rebooked for another day.

IST THE EARLY BOOKING TICKET TRANSFERABLE IF I CANNOT USE IT MYSELF?

When purchasing an Early Booking Ticket, the first and last name oft the user must be provided. This information cannot be changed after the purchase.

CAN AN EARLY BOOKING TICKET ALSO BE PURCHASED AT THE TICKET COUNTERS?

The Early Booking discount is only available at the online shop.

IS THE EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT ALSO APPLICABLE FOR GROUP INQUIRIES?

At the Onlineshop, tickets can be purchased in larger quantities with the Early Booking discount. However, the regular group discount is only availabe at the ticket office, and combining both discounts is not possible.
